Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Toast pecans in oven for 8 minutes to warm them.
- Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Add salt. Continue beating until slightly stiffened.
- Add sugar gradually until stiff peaks form.
- Add vanilla and beat until well blended. Fold warmed pecans into meringue mixture.
