Delightful chocolate balls with rich semi-sweet flavor, coated in colorful toppings, perfect for parties, celebrations, or as a sweet treat for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • rainbow mix, red, white or green nonpareils, flaked coconut, chopped nuts (toppings)

Instructions

  1. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips.
  2. Remove from heat. Add sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and walnuts.
  3. Mix well. Cool in refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  4. When the mixture is firm enough to form a loose ball, roll 1-inch size balls in individual toppings such as rainbow mix, nonpareils, flaked coconut, or chopped nuts.
  5. Keep refrigerated.
