Instructions
- Cut the angel food cake in half horizontally.
- Pour 1/2 cup orange juice over each side of the cake on the outside, piercing with a fork so all juice will be absorbed.
- Set aside to soak.
- In a bowl, mix 3 cups sour cream, 6 tablespoons powdered sugar, and the remaining orange juice.
- Blend until smooth, then spread less than half of the mixture over the bottom layer of the cake.
- Place the top layer on and frost the entire cake with the remaining mixture.
- Sprinkle grated orange rind over the frosting.
- Refrigerate for 24 hours before cutting and serving.
