Ingredients

  • 1 large angel food cake, cut in half horizontally
  • 1 c. orange juice plus 4 Tbsp.
  • 3 c. sour cream
  • 6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. grated orange rind

Instructions

  1. Cut the angel food cake in half horizontally.
  2. Pour 1/2 cup orange juice over each side of the cake on the outside, piercing with a fork so all juice will be absorbed.

  5. Blend until smooth, then spread less than half of the mixture over the bottom layer of the cake.

  7. Sprinkle grated orange rind over the frosting.
  8. Refrigerate for 24 hours before cutting and serving.
