Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 1/3 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine grated orange peel, sugar, and softened cream cheese until well mixed.
  3. Unroll both cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough.
  4. Press seams together to form a continuous sheet.
  5. Spread the orange cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Roll up the dough as a jelly roll.
  7. Form the roll into a ring shape and place on a jelly roll pan.
  8. From outside, cut halfway to the center of the ring at about 2-inch intervals.
  9. Give each cut piece a half turn to create a pinwheel effect.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Mix powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth.
  12. Drizzle the glaze over the warm ring before serving.
