Orange-Ginger Halibut

Ingredients

  • 4 halibut steaks, cut 1-inch thick (about 2 lb. total)
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. grated ginger root
  • 1/2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Place fish in a single layer on a greased unheated rack of a broiler pan.
  2. Brush fish with half of the margarine.
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Broil fish 4-inches from heat for 8 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, turning fish once and brushing with remaining margarine.
