Ingredients

  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sweet milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • grated rind of 2 oranges
  • 1 lb. pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Combine light brown sugar and sweet milk in a saucepan.
  2. Add vinegar to the mixture.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook until the mixture forms a soft ball in cold water.
  4. Pour the hot caramel mixture over the pecan halves.
  5. Add grated rind of 2 oranges and stir until the pecans are coated evenly.
  6. Spread the coated pecans on foil to dry.
