Ingredients

  • 10 oz. can chicken a la king
  • 5 oz. can chicken
  • 1/4 cup light cream
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons chopped candied ginger
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the chicken a la king, canned chicken, light cream, and chopped candied ginger.
  2. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add toasted slivered almonds.
  4. Serve over hot, fluffy rice.
