Ingredients

  • 2 qt. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. salt

Instructions

  1. Bring water, sugar, vinegar, and salt to a boil and let cool.
  2. Spear eight cucumbers and place them in a gallon jar with dill sprigs and two cloves of garlic.
  3. Pour the cooled liquid over the cucumbers in the jar.
  4. Refrigerate the jar overnight until the next day.
  5. Enjoy the pickles straight from the jar as a refreshing snack or accompaniment.
