Oyster Stew For Two

Ingredients

  • 1 pt. milk
  • 1/2 c. cream
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 pt. oysters with liquid
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat milk and cream to scalding.
  2. Just before serving, melt butter in saucepan.
  3. Add oysters with liquid.
  4. Cook gently, just until oyster edges curl.
  5. Add to scalded milk and cream.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve immediately with oyster crackers.
