Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen white bread dough
  • 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Thaw the frozen white bread dough at room temperature for several hours.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a cylinder about 2 inches in diameter.
  3. Combine the fine bread crumbs and salt in a shallow dish.
  4. Roll the dough in the crumb mixture until coated.
  5. Cut the dough into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
  6. Lay the cut side up on a greased cookie sheet.
  7. Cover with a dishcloth and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  9. Bake the rolls for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
