Ingredients

  • 1 1 & 1/2 pounds stew beef trimmed and cut into bite size pieces.
  • 2 can tomato sauce 15 ounce.
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 28 oz can crushed tomatos.
  • 1 frozen vegetables (20 + oz) more as needed
  • 1 salt and pepper as needed

Instructions

  1. in large dutch oven or soup pot, add meat and sliced onion, cover meat with 1" water.
  2. bring to a boil, then simmer about 3-4 hours.
  3. add water as needed to keep meat covered, allow to reduce by half.
  4. add tomatos, tomato sauce and vegetables.
  5. stir.
  6. return to boil then simmer one more hour.
  7. add salt and pepper as needed
  8. you can add any ingredients as you need according to servings.
