Ingredients

  • 18 medium (6 to 8-inch) cukes
  • 3 3/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. salt
  • 4 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 4 1/2 tsp. turmeric

Instructions

  1. Slice cucumbers and cover with boiling water; leave overnight. Prepare syrup with vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seed, turmeric and mustard seed.
  2. Pack cukes in jars.
  3. Pour syrup over cukes and seal.
  4. Cook in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
