Parmesan Baguette

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 baguette, Italian, halved lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler with oven rack 3-4 inches from the element.
  2. Combine butter, garlic, parsley, salt, oregano, and paprika; spread mixture on cut sides of baguette and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  3. Broil bread, buttered-side up, on a baking sheet until toasted, 1-3 minutes. Remove from oven, then cut into 2-inch pieces.
