Ingredients

  • 6 lb. pickling cukes
  • 1/4 c. pickling salt
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. pickling spices
  • 1 large bunch parsley or dill

Instructions

  1. Cut cucumbers into 1/4-inch slices.
  2. Combine cucumber slices with pickling salt in a bowl.
  3. Add enough cold water to cover and let stand overnight.
  4. Drain well before using.
