- Brown the sausage and ground meat in a skillet.
- Add cut pieces of Velveeta cheese and approximately four tablespoons of salsa, stirring until melted and well combined.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely.
- Spread the cooled mixture onto party rye bread slices and freeze on cookie sheets.
- Once frozen, transfer the party rye onto Baggies and store in the freezer.
- To serve, bake in a 350°F oven until slightly brown and hot, then serve.
