Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • party rye bread

Instructions

  1. Fry the sausage in a heavy skillet over medium heat, stirring to break it up.
  2. Pour off the grease, add the Velveeta cheese, and lower the heat.
  3. Stir until the cheese melts and blends with the sausage.
  4. Spread the mixture on party rye bread and broil until lightly browned, or freeze until ready to use.
