Ingredients

  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, ground
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. red wine (to moisten)
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Coarsely grate apple and mash thoroughly with nuts and cinnamon.
  2. When mixture is smooth, add wine and mix again.
  3. Add sugar to taste.
