Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
  • 4 c. water
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in Teflon pan and drain in colander.
  2. Place cooked meat in large pot.
  3. Add the 2 cans of stewed tomatoes, the can of tomato sauce, the onion soup mix, 4 cups water and the sugar and frozen mixed vegetables.
  4. Simmer 30 minutes.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Makes 8 good servings.
