Peach Pickles

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. sugar
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 6 drops oil of cloves
  • 6 drops oil of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Bring all ingredients except peaches to a boil.
  2. Drop in a few peaches at a time until a fork can easily prick the peach.
  3. Pack peaches into sterilized jars.
  4. Fill jars with hot syrup, leaving appropriate headspace.
  5. Process jars in boiling water bath for 20 minutes.
