Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons skim milk
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 pound hamburger lean 80/20
  • 1/4 cup parsley finely chopped
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 3/4 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat over to 400. In a large bowl, combine the milk and bread crumbs. Add the ground meat, parsley, eggs, garlic, salt, pepper, and cheese. Mix thoroughly. Form into 1 inch balls.
  2. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet. Use a rack to keep them above any drained fat.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes and check the center of a meatball to ensured oneness. Cook for a few more minutes if needed. Add the meatballs to a favorite sauce and cook over medium-low heat, covered for 20 - 30 minutes
