Pepper Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 small to medium head cabbage
  • 1 sweet bell pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed

Instructions

  1. Chop cabbage and carrot in food chopper.
  2. Add diced bell pepper.
  3. Add 1 tsp. salt and cover for one hour.
  4. In a sauce pan, heat the sugar, vinegar, and water until sugar is dissolved. Cool. Add cooled mixture, celery, and mustard seeds to the cabbage mix. Stir and enjoy.
