Ingredients

  • 12 red peppers
  • 16 onions
  • 1 pt vinegar
  • 12 green peppers
  • 3 cups sugar
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water over the peppers and onions.
  2. Let stand for 5 minutes, then drain.
  3. Pour boiling water over the peppers and onions again and let stand for 20 minutes.
  4. Drain the mixture.
  5. Add the vinegar, sugar, and salt, then cook for 20 minutes.
