A refreshing peppermint tea concentrate with sweet, minty flavors perfect for hot or cold beverages, ideal for those who enjoy a soothing, aromatic drink.

Ingredients

  • 3 quarts water
  • 3/4 cup tea leaves
  • 4 1/2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil.
  2. Pour the boiling water over the tea leaves.
  3. Steep the tea leaves for 15 minutes with the lid on.
  4. Strain the tea over the sugar.
  5. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Boil 1 quart of water.
  7. Steep the same tea leaves for another 15 minutes.
  8. Mix the second steeped tea with the sugar solution.
  9. Dilute 1 quart of the concentrate with 3 to 4 quarts of water before serving.
