Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix
  • 1 pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Prepare brownie mix as directed on the package and pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
  3. Add sugar and continue mixing until blended.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, then mix until combined.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
  6. Cut through the batter with a knife several times to create a marbled effect.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes or until the cream cheese mixture is lightly browned.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into approximately 24 squares.
