Ingredients

  • 6 kg. tomatoes
  • 2 glasses (400 gr.) sugar
  • 1 glass salt
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 5 litres water

Instructions

  1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
  2. Place some tomatoes in a 3-litre jar.
  3. Add aromatic herbs, pepper, and garlic to the jar with tomatoes.
  4. Prepare the pickle solution by boiling water with sugar, salt, and vinegar.
  5. Pour the hot pickling solution over the tomatoes in the jar, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  6. Seal the jar and let the tomatoes pickle for at least a few days before serving.
