Pineapple And Beets Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Liquid from 16 ounce. pineapple
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 4 c. or possibly 32 ounce. cut beets, liquid removed

Instructions

  1. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and salt; add in pineapple juice, water, and vinegar.
  2. Cook till sauce thickens.
  3. Stir constantly.
  4. Add in beets and pineapple.
  5. Serve warm or possibly cool.
  6. Delicious with pork or possibly fowl.
