Pineapple Pie Squares

Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. Crisco
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix in bowl, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
  2. Blend in Crisco. Break egg into measuring cup and beat well.
  3. Add vinegar and water to make 3/4 cup.
  4. Add to flour mixture, then knead. Roll half on wax paper to cover 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet.
  5. Save the other half for top.
