Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 (5 oz.) jar cream cheese pineapple spread
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Separate the crescent roll dough into two long rectangles. Place the rectangles with long sides together and press the edges to seal the perforations.
  3. Roll the combined dough into a 10x15 inch rectangle.
  4. Mix the pineapple spread with cinnamon and ginger until well combined.
  5. Spread the pineapple mixture evenly over the dough rectangle.
  6. Roll up the dough jelly-roll fashion starting from the 15 inch side.
  7. Cut the rolled dough into 1 inch thick slices.
  8. Place the slices cut side down on the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly with fingertips.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the rolls are lightly browned.
  10. Remove from oven and transfer to a rack to cool slightly.
  11. Arrange the rolls in a large shallow serving dish and pour pineapple butter sauce over them.
