- Cream sugar and shortening.
- Add eggs and fold in at high speed.
- Sift flour.
- Add 1 cup at a time and beat 1 minute.
- Add cream and juice, then flavorings.
- Beat well.
- Bake in a square pan for 40 to 60 minutes at 300°.
- Cool.
