Ingredients

  • 2 c milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 50 gram. yeast
  • 6 1/2 c flour (unbleached)

Instructions

  1. DOUGH:
  2. Mix warm milk with yeast, add salt and sugar, and 3 cups flour, 1 cup at a time.
  3. Beat eggs in a bowl, stir eggs into mixture, warm up butter, stir into dough, add 1 Tbsp of vegetable oil.
  4. Mix about 15 minutes, if dough seems liquid, add a little bit more flour.
  5. Put dough into a big pot and cover.
  6. Keep it in a warm place for 5 hours.
