Ingredients

  • 9 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp. anise oil or 3 tsp. lemon extract or 3 tsp. vanilla or 3 tsp. rum

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until frothy.
  2. Add sugar a little at a time until smooth.
  3. Add melted butter and desired flavoring.
  4. Slowly add flour and baking powder, sifted together.
  5. Batter should be fairly thick.
  6. Spray pizelle iron with Pam.
  7. Spoon 1 teaspoon in center of design.
  8. Takes about 1/2 minute.
