Pizza Pies
Quick and customizable pizza pies using pita bread, topped with tomato sauce, cheese, and herbs, perfect for a fun meal for families or snack lovers.

Instructions
- Turn oven to 450°F.
- Using scissors, cut circles out of the pita bread, only cutting through the top portion without going all the way through.
- Spread tomato sauce on the bread with a spoon.
- Grate the mozzarella cheese and pour it over the top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle the pies evenly with basil and oregano, then add any extra toppings such as sliced onion, green pepper, zucchini slices, Parmesan cheese, sliced mushrooms, or minced garlic.
- Place the pies on a cookie sheet or baking pan.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Toast the pita bread circle in microwave or toaster and place on top of the pizza before serving.
