Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. yeast in warm water
  • 1 c. water or more (to make workable dough)
  • 1/2 lb. browned hamburger
  • Monterey cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, shortening and salt with yeast mixture and water to make dough workable.
  2. Take tablespoon of dough and make a round flat surface.
  3. On half of round put 1 teaspoon ground beef, 1 teaspoon cheese and 1 teaspoon Ragu; fold over and seal.
  4. Drop in hot grease until brown.
