Ingredients

  • 7 qt. unsalted popped corn
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook oleo, brown sugar, Karo syrup, and salt over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  2. Pour the hot mixture over the popped corn and peanuts (if desired).
  3. Place the coated popcorn in an oven preheated to 200° F and bake for 1 hour.
  4. Stir every 20 minutes during baking to coat evenly.
