- Boil the first 4 ingredients together until mixture turns brittle when dropped in cold water.
- Add flavoring and soda.
- Pour on buttered platter.
- Turn in edges as it cooks.
- When cool enough to handle, pull to clear and brittle.
- Cut into pieces and wrap.
