Ingredients

  • 1 qt. chopped, cored, unpeeled apples
  • 1 qt. chopped onions
  • 1 qt. chopped green tomatoes
  • 1 qt. chopped cabbage
  • 1 qt. sugar
  • 1 qt. apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Chop, mix, and drain excess liquid from apples, onions, green tomatoes, and cabbage.
  2. Put the mixture in a large skillet; add a handful of mixed pickling spices.
  3. Boil until the mixture becomes translucent.
  4. Put the hot relish into sterilized jars and seal.
