Quick Microwave Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. white wine or omit wine and increase water to 1 1/4 c.
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. cut up, cooked chicken or turkey
  • 1 1/2 c. instant rice
  • 1 can green peas, drained or green beans

Instructions

  1. In 2-quart casserole dish, blend soup, water, wine and soy sauce.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Cover.
  4. Cook in microwave on High power for 9 1/2
  5. to 10 1/2 minutes.
  6. Stir twice during cooking.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes.
  8. Top if desired with crushed crackers or bread crumbs (seasoned works well).
