Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • shortening (size of egg)
  • 4 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast with warm water.
  2. Add salt, sugar, shortening, and flour to the yeast mixture and mix well.
  3. Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
  4. Shape the dough into rolls and let rise again.
  5. Bake at 350° until golden brown.
