Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 8 oz. broad noodles
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef well, then stir in the onion soup mix, tomato sauce, and water.
  2. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. In a 2-quart baking dish, layer cooked noodles, meat sauce, and sliced mozzarella cheese, ending with cheese on top.
  4. Bake in the oven at 400°F for 15 minutes or until bubbling and heated through.
