Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 4 cups cold water
  • food coloring

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and cornstarch in a pan.
  2. Add cold water to the mixture.
  3. Heat until it begins to thicken.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool.
  5. Divide the cooled mixture into three containers, coloring one red, one yellow, and one blue.
  6. Place 3 tablespoons of each colored mixture into separate plastic resealable bags.
  7. Express air from the bags, seal, and tape shut.
  8. Gently knead the bags to mix the colors and observe the effects.
