Ingredients

  • 2 c. buttermilk (low-fat)
  • 1/2 c. plus 2 tsp. fat-free mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped scallions
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. chives
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in order.
  2. Whisk until well blended. Refrigerate at least 12 hours before serving.
  3. (The longer refrigerated flavors will blend more thoroughly.)
  4. Yield: about one quart.
