- Mix 1 1/2 cups flour, the yeast, sugar and salt in large bowl. Heat water, milk and margarine to 125° to 130°; stir into flour mixture.
- Stir in egg.
- Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.
- Sprinkle a clean surface with flour; knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
- Cover and let rest 10 minutes.
- Lightly grease a cookie sheet and shape dough into a round loaf; place on sheet.
- Cover and let rise 20 minutes.
- Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
