- Pour 2 cups
- boiling water over bran, sugar, Crisco and salt. Cool to
- lukewarm.
- Soften
- 2 packages yeast in 1/4 cup water; let stand.
- Add
- 2
- beaten
- eggs
- and
- yeast
- to
- above mixture.
- Add 2 cups whole wheat flour and 5 cups white flour. Mix well.
- Let rise
- 1 hour.
- Punch down and shape into loaves or rolls.
- Let rise
- 1 1/2 hours.
- Bake 30 minutes for loaf at 350°, rolls 15 minutes at 400°.
