Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
  • pinch of chili pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Melt the margarine in a pan over a medium heat and fry the onion and garlic gently for 5 minutes.
  3. Mash the beans and add to the mixture with the pepper. Cook it all through until hot.
