Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 303) can tomatoes (may add another can of tomatoes)
  • 6 onions, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • hard bread

Instructions

  1. Boil onions in water to cover; drain.
  2. Chop tomatoes fine. Cut cheese in small dice.
  3. When onions are done, add tomatoes and cheese to saucepan.
  4. Stir constantly to blend.
  5. Serve over pieces of broken hard bread.
