Tips & Substitutions

For a vibrant color contrast, use fresh fruits like strawberries or blueberries layered in between, which can add a fresh element to the dish. If you prefer a less sweet version, consider using unsweetened pineapple and reducing the amount of sugar. Substituting Greek yogurt for cream cheese can also lighten the dish while maintaining creaminess.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Ribbon Salad chilled, garnished with fresh mint leaves for an elegant touch. It pairs well with a light main course, such as grilled chicken or fish. For a complete meal, consider serving alongside a refreshing Sweet Onion Casserole to balance the flavors.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If the jello layers are too firm, let them sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving. Avoid freezing, as this can alter the texture of the jello.
