Rice Raisin Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 9 cups Cooked Rice (basmati Adds A Great Nutty Flavor)
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 3/4 cups Butter, Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Sage
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Thyme
  • 1/3 cups Chopped Parsley
  • 10 ounces, weight Raisins

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice.
  2. Saute the onions in the butter until they are clear. Add the herbs and parsley to the rice.
  3. Pour the butter and onions over the rice. Add the raisins. Mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stuff the turkey, or place in a casserole and cook until warmed through. If you are not going to put it into a turkey, cook the rice in broth to give it extra flavor.
