Instructions
- Stuff the pig with sage and onion stuffing, then sew up the opening with fine string.
- Brush the entire surface with melted butter or oil and wrap in several folds of well-greased grease-proof paper.
- Draw the legs well back and tie in a good shape.
- Roast in a moderate oven (350°F) according to size, allowing 25 minutes per pound and 25 minutes extra.
- Baste every 30 minutes during roasting.
