Instructions
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil; add salt, quick oats, oleo, and molasses, then cool.
- Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and add to the cooled mixture.
- Add flour and beat well.
- Knead the dough on a floured board.
- Put in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled in bulk.
- Make into 2 loaves and place in loaf pans.
- Let the dough rise until doubled in bulk again.
- Bake in a 350°F oven for 40 minutes.
- Let the bread set for at least one hour before slicing.
