- Preheat oven to 450°.
- Make a well in the sifted self-rising flour, patting the flour down lightly.
- Pour sweet milk into the well.
- Add oil to the milk.
- Gradually add flour with hands to make a soft dough.
- Flour your hands.
- Pinch off dough and roll between hands to form biscuits.
- Place biscuits on a greased pan with oil, placing them touching.
- Dab oil onto the top of each biscuit.
- Bake at 450° for approximately 5 to 6 minutes or until done.
- Place under the broiler briefly to slightly brown the tops.
